Pokemon Sun and Moon Extravaganza

Episode 54: the faulty fifty-fourth episode of the PokeProblemsPodcast. We had a little recording trouble this week, so please forgive the iffy audio quality! Miz Sylver and the Wolf Doctor both had gaming adventures this week. The Wolf Doctor went to Tuesday's Boston VR Meetup! Their next event is happening December 15 in Brookline if you want to go! Miz Sylver, on the other hand, played her new NES Classic! And we both managed to enter the My Nintendo Holiday Sweepstakes! And now, we talk about Sun and Moon!

• Miz Sylver bought the special Amazon Steelbook Pokemon Sun and Moon Set!
• If you buy Sun or Moon before January 11th, you can get a free download of a Munchlax that can evolve into a Snorlax with Pulverizing Pancake!
• Miz Sylver toys with the idea of getting the Z-Ring Bracelet!
• Tomorrow (Sunday November 20th) from 2 to 4pm, Toys'R'Us is having a Sun and Moon launch party event where you can get some really cool freebies, including a Meowth statue! (Check to make sure your local store is having the event!)
• The new season of the Pokemon TV series is set in Alola, and the series is moving over to Disney XD! December 5th sees the launch on the new channel with the movie, Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. On the same day, head to Pokemon.com to get the Mythical Pokémon Magearna in Sun or Moon with the new QR Scanner feature.
• The November/December issue of Nintendo Force Magazine has a lot of features on Sun and Moon, including a sweet double cover featuring Solgaleo and Lunala.

We talk a bit about the newest 3DS utility title, SwapDoodle, the love-child of SwapNote and Art Academy. This title brings back the use of SpotPass to send notes and doodles to your friends. Don't post inappropriate content, remember what happened last time... We wrap up talking about some cool events that are happening...

• Sailor Moon R - The Movie is coming to theaters January 17th!
• Spirited Away is coming to theaters December 4th! There are a *few* seats left in the Boston area, but not many, so if you want to go, get your tickets now!
• Coming soon to a city near you, it's Defenders of the Triforce - Real Escape Game x The Legend of Zelda. It's sold out in San Francisco, LA, and San Diego, but there are still tickets for Phoenix. The tickets for Seattle, Chicago, Houston, and the New York area will be on sale January 3rd, 2017, so mark your calendar if you want to go!
