Pokémon GO’s Water Festival returns for 2022 and brings the debuts of Lapras wearing a scarf, Dewpider, and Araquanid. May’s Raids are the Alolan Guardian Deities, Mega Blastoise and Mega Altaria! Plus, May is the last month of Alola… Make sure you complete the last Alolan research, the Poni Island Special Research. If you complete all the islands by June 1, 2022, you’ll unlock a bonus Special Research line at the end of the Season! Finally, a new Pokemon GO widget featuring your buddy is coming. Did you know there were Pokemon GO WIDGETS??? Plus, international in-person Pokémon GO Fest events are back, and the first stop is Berlin, Germany! From Friday, July 1, 2022, to Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Britzer Garten. Pokémon GO Fest 2022 continues its world tour with a stop in Sapporo, Japan! Nakajima Park and the city of Sapporo will host this special event from August 5, 2022, to August 7, 2022. This year’s event is too big to be contained within a single park, so some gameplay elements have been expanded citywide!
