YOU'RE a Shiny Tapu Koko

• The most recent global mission in Pokemon Sun and Moon was a success! A Shiny Tapu Koko is also available as a Mystery Gift! No end date is given at this time, so get it while it's hot!
• The Pokemon Go Anniversary event is still on until July 24th!
• More information is out about the July 22nd Pokemon GO Fest in Grant Park in Chicago. There will be some corresponding global Challenges as well! Safari Zones will be coming up in Europe soon, as will Pikachu Outbreak in Yokohama, and another event at the Big Heritage Festival in Chester in the UK!
• Splatoon 2 had a Cake VS Ice Cream Splatfest, ahead of the game's official release on July 21st! Splatoon will also be getting an anime series!
• Miz Sylver recommends catching the incredible finals of the Smash 4 EVO Championships.
• Miz Sylver loved the first episode of the new Castlevania series on Netflix. Game of Thrones is back too!
• Atari provided a first look at its upcoming console concept!
• Miz Sylver will be working at San Diego Comicon for Nintendo this year, see if you can find her there July 20-23!

Episode 79: The singular seventy-ninth episode of the PokeProblemsPodcast! Tonight, we have a special guest! Maitland Hemby also known as Follow @androidqueen. Maitland is a friend and classmate of The Wolf Doctor and Miz Sylver who is a Senior Gameplay Engineer at Arkane Studios in the Austin office. She's worked at several other game studios including Harmonix, BioWare, and Edge of Reality. She talks about how she got into games, the ups and downs of being in the industry, and her favorite things she made for Prey. We also get her advice for aspiring game developers, which does include moving to Austin. Her Austin area gaming pick is Juegos Rancheros indie gaming meet-ups. • The “Defend Your Champion Title!” global mission in Pokemon Sun and Moon is on until July 10 at 4:59pm PDT. The goal of this mission is to collectively earn the title of League Champion 100,000 times!
• The Wolf Doctor gives an update on Pokemon Go Raids, and how she has failed at the high level ones alone.
• Has-Been Heroes just got a sweet quality update, fixing bugs and adding effects and background text!
• The upcoming-this-summer Namco Museum for the Switch will include Pac-Mac Vs., the insane game where one player plays Pac-Man while up to three other players play as ghosts!
• The Super NES Classic is announced for September 29th. Stay tuned for details on pre-orders and such.
• Nintendo and Hasbro are teaming up to bring us Monopoly Gamer, essentially Mario-nopoly.
