Pokemon GOing GOing GOne! and Girls Make Games

Episode 29: The tricky twenty-ninth episode of the PokeProblemsPodcast. Lots of Pokemon stuff is going on! Pokemon Shuffle has mercifully only introduced one new-to-the-game Pokemon this week, Magmortar, which is one of the new, takes-coins-to-play stages. June is the month of Manaphy, connect to the Nintendo Network. Didn't get Mew in the GameStop distribution earlier this year? Sign up for the Pokemon Trainer Club email list by June 1st to get a code to get that Mew. Last week we all signed up for the Pokemon Go beta, but we did not get in! Some of our friends, who are Ingress players, got in, but they had to sign a pretty serious NDA, so we are working on figuring out what can be said in an interview.

We talk about a few events:

• WARCRAFT movie, out June 9th!
• We attended a fundraiser for Girls Make Games at the Aeronaut Brewing Co. in Somerville. We played Mr. Do!
• New York Comic Con (October 6 – 9, 2016) is doing a new ticketing process. If you want to buy tickets to NYCC, you need to sign up for Fan Verification by June 13th, 2016. This is basically a pre-registration process. It does not get you tickets! But you must do this sign up if you want to buy tickets. Read about it on their website. Miz Sylver is probably going, and is excited about trying to see Stan Lee!
